Report: Thomas Brown to Get a Second Interview for Titans Head Coaching Job
Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown will get a second interview with the Tennessee Titans for their head coaching position, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
Brown's first season as an offensive coordinator did not go as well as he or anyone in Carolina would have liked, but he's not completely at fault. The long list of injuries along the offensive line and the underwhelming play of running back Miles Sanders and those at the receiver position didn't help the matter.
Carolina finished the year dead last in points per game (13.9), total offense (265.3), passing (161.2), and 20th in rushing (104.1).
Tennessee has also interviewed Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce and Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, and Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson and Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn for the position.
