Tua Tagovailoa Shares Postgame Message to Bryce Young

The two former Alabama quarterbacks shared a moment a midfield following Sunday's game.

Each week, Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young seems to be making progress. The numbers may not jump off the page, the offense may not score a ton of points, and the losses continue to pile up but Young is making strides.

In Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins, Young completed 23-of-38 pass attempts for 217 yards and a touchdown.

Following the game, Young met with Dolphins QB and fellow Alabama alum, Tua Tagovailoa for a few moments. Tagovailoa provided Young with words of encouragement, telling him that he is going to have a great career.

"Yeah, the conversation that I felt like if I was on the other side of the ball, I would want someone to tell me," Tagovailoa told reporters. "I think he's doing a tremendous job. There's going to be times where you're going to make mistakes because you're a rookie, and there's things that when he plays the next game that he wished he knew this game, and he'll continue to grow from that. I just told him to keep the press, the naysayers, other people, that's just external factors. They're going to say what they're going to say, but you continue to believe in yourself, you continue to do the right things, you're going to go far."

"Great player, great person, Young said of Tua. "Obviously, there were things said between us that I'll keep between us. But again, great guy, great competitor, great player. It was definitely great to be able to talk, and he definitely did give some words of wisdom and stuff that I'll hold onto. Great guy, great player. I’m excited for his future as well and to be able to watch and follow that."
