Tom Brady passes Drew Brees for 2nd all-time in career passing touchdowns
It's Brady's spot in the rankings...for now.

During the New England Patriots' Week 3 game vs. the New York Jets, Tom Brady completed a play-action pass to receiver Phillip Dorsett for a 25-yard touchdown late in the first quarter of the game.
That TD pass was significant because it gave Brady 523 career passing touchdowns, which puts him in sole possession of 2nd place all-time in career TD passes. Saints QB Drew Brees has 522 and is currently missing time due to injury and won't be back for several weeks. Peyton Manning is the all-time leader with 539.
Press-box announcement: Tom Brady 523rd TD pass of his career, passing Drew Brees (for the time being) for sole possession of second place all-time.
