Injury update: Phillip Dorsett downgraded to OUT vs. Redskins
An already banged up group has suffered yet another blow to their once unstoppable core.
Patriots' receiver Phillip Dorsett sustained an injury to his hamstring on the final play of the first quarter against the Redskins today.
He spent a brief time in the medical tent before going to the locker room, where he was first deemed as questionable.
Now, the Patriots officially have ruled him out for the rest of the game.
This leaves UDFA Jakobi Meyers in position to take over the third receiver spot on the team.
Dorsett's status for Thursday's game against the Giants is still up in the air and we will keep you updated on any new developments.
