The first New England Patriots injury report of Week 8 is live, and has quite a few names on it.

Those absent from Wednesday's practice were defensive tackle Carl Davis and wide receiver N'Keal Harry, who are both in concussion protocol. Those limited on Wednesday were rookie safety Kyle Dugger (ankle), wideout Julian Edelman (knee), defensive tackle Lawrence Guy, running back Damien Harris, rookie offensive tackle Justin Herron (ankle), starting right guard Shaq Mason (calf), defensive end John Simon (shoulder) and starting left guard Joe Thuney (ankle).

Harry exited New England's Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers after taking a hit to the head on a third-down pass and never returned. Herron and Thuney also exited the game due to injuries and never returned. Harris, Guy and Simon did not have to exit the game due to injury, but are apparently injured enough to be limited early on this week at practice.

Dugger, Edelman and Mason have been listed on the injury report in past weeks, so them being limited has become a routine up until this point.

Continue to keep an eye on the injury report to monitor how Harry and Davis progress through concussion protocol over the next couple days. The same goes for the remainder of the players that are limited to begin the week due to their respective injuries.
