Rookie wideout N'Keal Harry is eligible to be activated to the 53-man roster this week following his stint on IR because of an ankle injury. As Rapoport mentions, the release of Tomlinson could be to clear a roster spot for the former first round pick.
New England's depth chart now consists of Benjamin Watson, Ryan Izzo and Matt LaCosse.
