Bill Belichick At The Movies: ‘Barbie’ Vs. ‘Oppenheimer’?

Patriots coach Bill Belichick is fielding an important question: Which does he prefer: “Barbie” or “Oppenheimer”?

The NFL season is upon, and with all this talk of being on “the hot seat,” the New England Patriots head coach would seem to have less time for nonsense than ever … 

Unless you are a pal of the boss Bill Belichick, in which case you might be able to get away with a little bit of frivolity.

So … the coach was asked an all-important summer entertainment question: Which do you prefer: “Barbie” or “Oppenheimer”? 

The legendary coach responded to pal Scott Pioli’s fun query with a not-so-surprising answer, per Andrew Groover.

“Bill Belichick just told @scottpioli51 that he doesn't want to see Barbie but does think Oppenheimer looks “interesting,” Groover relays.

The stoic Belichick is well-known to be a history buff; we’re betting right off the top of head he knows infinitely more about World War II and  a key American in human history than he knows about a little girl’s toy.

And having said all that the Patriots legend - laboring to keep his job and his reputation while trying to upset the field and survive in the grueling AFC East following up on an 8-9 season - is surely busying himself at this training camp watching a lot of “films” … that is, Bills and Dolphins and Jets film.
