Patriots Ex Tom Brady Date Kelly Clarkson? Howard Stern Plays Matchmaker

Kelly Clarkson became a national singing sensation when she won ‘American Idol.’ Howard Stern would like to fix her up with Patriots idol Tom Brady.

Tom Brady is single and available. Kelly Clarkson is back on the dating market. So, who “swiped right”?

“I have a lot of confidence,” she explained to Howard Stern, the popular pop star and television show host, before repeating, “I’m a very confident woman.”

OK, Ms. Clarkson, we get it. You’re confident and you’ve earned it. Meanwhile, you’ve also earned your single status after having gotten a  divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock.

Meanwhile. The entire world - well behind the football and sports realm - knows all about Tom Brady’s newfound status as a bachelor. The legendary NFL quarterback - to New England Patriots the unchallenged Super Bowl GOAT. - is now retired and playing around on a beach somewhere and playing around in Hollywood and maybe on TV and definitely with his beloved kids.

So the funny and raunchy and stir-it-up radio guy Stern posed the fun question. In a much-publicized move, Brady got divorced from his longtime supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, last fall.

So, should Clarkson date Brady? Stunningly, Kelly insisted she’s not interested in the handsome QB. But why not?

“I’m a very confident woman. [But] I don’t think I’d like to follow Gisele Bündchen,” said Clarkson, who first became a national singing sensation when she won “American Idol” in 2002 and is currently is a judge on “The Voice.” “How do you not think about that when you’re making out with him?”

Ah, yes. Following up Gisele Bundchen as a sweetheart is probably akin to following up Tom Brady. We gotcha, Kelly Clarkson.
