Patriots Punches: Matthew Judon Claps Back at Asante Samuel For Belichick Attacks

With social-media infighting between past and current players, the New England Patriots are devolving into a family feud.

These days, the "Patriot Way" has deteriorated into a family feud.

Tedy Bruschi vs. Bill Belichick and Asante Samuel vs. seemingly everyone, especially the coach but also now Matthew Judon.

After a 20-year dynasty filled with harmony, the Pats are suddenly a chaotic mess.

First, the coach ruffled lots of fanbase feathers by claiming his team's future is bright merely because of its past. That led to Bruschi calling him out, and Belichick seemingly walking the statement back.

Samuel, of course, has long been a critic of Belichick. So when the rumors persist about disgruntled Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson being connected to the Patriots, he couldn't help but jump into the fray by tweeting "trust me, you don't want to play for Belichick."

That prompted the team's best current defender - Matthew Judon - to take on one of the defensive heroes from the glory days.

Judon, the Pats' only Pro Bowl representative last season, clapped back to Samuel with his own tweet: "Hush up. It's different over here."

The verbal volleying continues, with Samuel apparently not ready to let Judon have the last word. He has fired back with a slew of tweets, including "No, it not… you are just a little brain washed right now."

The Patriots are learning the hard way that while winning cures everything, losing exposes a lot, too.
