As bad as 2023 has been for the New England Patriots, it's going even worse for one of their former stars as Chandler Jones has had yet another confrontation with police.

Jones, a 2012 first-round draft pick of the Pats who won a Super Bowl ring in Foxboro, started the season with the Las Vegas Raiders but has suffered a downward spiral of life events that has him out of football, making bizarre posts to his social media and seemingly dealing with police on a regular basis.

According to TMZ, Jones was recently involved in another run-in with cops, this time in Arizona. He posted a video to his Instagram Monday morning, showing several officers from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office pulling up to a residence. In the footage, you can see Jones exchanging words with the officers, before one of them tells him, "Mr. Jones, we've got to talk about why we're here now."

Suddenly, the camera falls and Jones can be heard screaming. "Wait! No!"

You can hear in the clip officers trying to explain to him they're "there to help" ... before the video cuts out.

It remains unclear when the footage was captured, and what officers wanted with Jones. He posted another video Monday showing police questioning him about a fire he apparently was burning in his back yard.

Chandler Jones: 'I Don't Want to Play for Josh McDaniels!'

Jones was arrested twice in Las Vegas in the Fall, both times for violations of a domestic violence temporary protection order. Earlier this season he posted on his social media threats against Raiders owner Mark Davis and then-coach Josh McDaniels and a video of himself crying after talking about the death of former Patriots' teammate Aaron Hernandez.
