Fleury actually began his pro coaching career on the defensive side of the ball — first as a defensive quality control coach with the Buffalo Bills in 2013 and then a two-year stint coaching linebackers with the Cleveland Browns. After three seasons as a research analyst and director with the Miami Dolphins, Fleury joined the Niners in 2019. Starting his tenure in the Bay Area as the team's offensive quality control coach. Fleury became the tight ends coach in 2024 — helping to guide second-team All Pro George Kittle to a prominent role in coach Kyle Shanahan’s offense.

Getsy was hired by the Chicago Bears in 2022 as their offensive coordinator under head coach Matt Eberflus. Prior to his time in Chicago, Getsy spent the majority of his coaching career in Green Bay. He held numerous positions with the Packers, most notably passing game coordinator and quarterbacks and wide receivers coach. Getsy was relieved of his duties as Bears’ offensive coordinator as part of the team’s coaching staff purge in January. Since that time, he has interviewed with the Las Vegas Raiders for their opening at offensive coordinator.
