Patriots Free Agency: Where's Jakobi Meyers Rank on NFL Top 50?

Two players from the New England Patriots will draw significant interest this offseason when they become free agents.
In this story:

The New England Patriots presently have 23 players bound for free agency this offseason. ... with two of those names being high-profile enough to make a Pro Football Focus list.

PFF recently released its list of the top 50 free agents ahead of the 2023 offseason. No, the Pats don't have a Lamar Jackson-level guy ... but the two guys who are mentioned could be difference-makers elsewhere - or prioritized here.

The pair ... and what PFF says about the Pats ...

No. 8Jakobi Meyers New England ... has made it a habit of letting players walk after their rookie contract value is gone ... Meyers is predominantly a slot receiver but is certainly not just that, logging a little more than one-third of his snaps out wide. ... At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, he can use his frame to make contested catches.

No. 27: Jonathan Jones Jones had a remarkable first half of the 2022 season after moving to outside cornerback for the first time in his career ... but he eventually came back down to earth over the second half of the season as bigger No. 1 receivers took advantage of his 5-foot-10, 190-pound frame. ...Down the homestretch, his 53.9 coverage grade ranked 82nd.

What will the Pats do here?

It's worth noting that while there is a cap and there is a budget, these two players just happen to play at spots that are teams needs - even if Meyers and Jones were to return.
