Patriots vs. Jets: How to Watch, Betting Odds, Streak Continues?
The New England Patriots travel south to New York to face the Jets in an AFC East matchup on Sunday. The Patriots are still looking for their first win, while the Jets hope to rebound from a disappointing loss.
New England lost to the Dolphins 24-17 last week for its first division loss of the season, while the Jets were blown out at home 30-10 by the Dallas Cowboys.
Patriots linebacker Matt Judon registered his second sack of the season in last week's loss to Miami. He'll face a shaky offensive line for the Jets and could add to that total. Judon leads the team with four quarterback hits and two sacks.
The Jets organization maintains the blowout loss to Dallas last week wasn't solely on quarterback Zach Wilson. Wilson had three interceptions in the lopsided loss and New York is counting on him to develop quickly this season after replacing Aaron Rodgers in Week 1.
Wilson has been particularly bad against the Patriots historically, with two touchdowns, seven interceptions and a passer rating of 50.6. He's also completed just under 51 percent of his passes.
The Patriots have won 14 straight meetings, with the Jets' last win coming in an overtime game in 2015, when Ryan Fitzpatrick was at the helm. The last time New York has beaten the Patriots in regulation was in a 2010 Divisional Round playoff game.
The Patriots sit at 0-2 for the first time since 2001, coach Bill Belichick's second season in New England, and look to avoid the first 0-3 start since Belichick's first season in 2000 when they started 0-4.
