'Building the Patriots': Offseason Documentary Release Date Revealed

New England Patriots fans are going to get an unprecedented look inside the organization.
In this story:

It is a crucial offseason for the New England Patriots following an 8-9 season. Falling well short of preseason expectations, owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick realized that something had to change.

That change began when several coaches, including offensive coordinator Matt Patricia, were let go.

Now as the offseason enters a critical stretch with the NFL Combine less than a week away, before free agency kicks, with the NFL Draft soon to follow, the Patriots announced that they will be filming their every move in a "Building the Patriots" documentary.

With episode one set to release on Friday, fans can expect to see behind-the-scenes footage of the Patriots' time in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of the Shrine Bowl.

As the coaching staff changes showed, the Patriots were not content with how last season went and are looking to return to their winning ways.

In the 42-second trailer shared to the Patriots' social media accounts, it seems to show that fans can expect to get their first look at new offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien, who was briefly seen coaching players in the Shrine Bowl, and even a sit-down interview with Belichick.

Fans can likely expect episode one to drop via the Patriots' YouTube channel as they document the ride back to the regular season.
