The New England Patriots will find out what their 2023 regular season schedule looks like on Thursday.
In this story:

The final major television event of the NFL offseason will take place Thursday night as the official regular season schedule will be released. Some of the drama, however, has already leaked out.

The New England Patriots already know they will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10 -  November 12 in Frankfurt, Germany - as part of the NFL's International Games. They will also host a Tom Brady homecoming in Week 1 against the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles, a Week 2 game against the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium, and a Dec. 18 Monday Night Football event against Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Pats will face Aaron Rodgers and the Jets in Week 3 on the road and in the season-ending Week 18 at home.

The NFL released a list of opponents for each team back in January, and the remainder of the schedule will be filled in Thursday night.

The Patriots went 8-9 last season, including only 4-4 at home. Since Brady's departure after the 2019 season, they are 25-25 in the regular seasons with only one playoff appearance ... a 30-point shellacking by the Bills in the 2021 season.

This season the Pats will travel the 10th-most miles among the league's 32 teams.

This year's NFL schedule will be different from years past as the league has announced several changes.

  • Teams can now play multiple Thursday Night Football games on Prime Video
  • The NFL can flex games played on Sunday and Monday
  • AFC/NFC road games are no longer subject to playing games on a certain network. In the past, if an NFC team was on the road, its game would be on FOX.
