WATCH: Patriots Icon Tom Brady Serenaded By 'Football' Fans

Before being honored at the New England Patriots opener next month, Tom Brady was serenaded in a pub by fans of his new "football" team.
In this story:

On Sept. 10 at Gillette Stadium, Tom Brady will absorb adulation from New England Patriots fans in appreciation of 20 years and six Super Bowls. Yesterday in England he was serenaded by a different type of football fans for simply having a drink in a pub.

Continuing his dizzying retirement that includes becoming part owner of a Boat Racing League, the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, NFL's Las Vegas Raiders and Major League Pickleball - while also finding time to attend enough parties to keep the gossip columnists happy with supposed romantic links to Veronika RajekKim Kardashian and new girlfriend Irina Shayk - Brady recently joined the ownership of the Birmingham City Football Club.

After taking his daughter to a concert in New Jersey, Brady hopped a flight across the pond for St. Andrews, home to "The Blues." Friday night he popped into a local pub for a pint and the shocked customers broke into song. We speak decent English, but we need subtitles for this Birmingham soccer ditty.

We're sure Patriots owner Robert Kraft has plenty in store for Brady's appreciation day when New England kicks-off the season against the Philadelphia Eagles in just less than a month. But so far he's got to top unified singing and ... pre-game fireworks.

While soccer star Lionel Messi wows fans in America, looks like Brady is getting a pretty warm welcome in soccer country as well. Brady's new team plays Leeds United Saturday at St. Andrews, which has been hosting games since 1906.

His old team, the Patriots, get back on the practice field Sunday as they resume training camp and prepare for next week's joint practices and preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
