Patriots Release Dates for 2023 Training Camp
FOXBORO — As both players and coaches of the New England Patriots enjoy a brief summer vacation, the team is making plans to welcome the fanbase back to the friendly confines of Gillette Stadium.
With the countdown to kickoff for the upcoming NFL season underway, the Pats have announced the initial dates for 2023 training camp.
New England has confirmed, via Thursday afternoon press release, that veteran players are required to report to camp on July 25. The team will conduct their first training camp practices on July 26 on the fields adjacent to Gillette Stadium. The Patriots also confirmed open practices on July 27 and 28. The team’s fourth open practice will be held that weekend, on either July 29 or 30.
This year marks the 63rd annual training camp for the Patriots, including their 21st consecutive camp at Gillette Stadium. Accordingly, fans will get the chance to watch their favorite Patriots in action, while getting a bird’s eye view at some some of the team’s most-compelling positional battles.
In addition, the Patriots announced that they will hold joint practice sessions at Green Bay on Aug. 16 and Aug. 17 prior to their preseason game against the Packers at Lambeau Field on Aug. 19 and at Tennessee on Aug. 22 and 23 prior to the preseason-finale against the Titans on Aug. 25.
The Patriots will open their 2023 preseason slate at home, as they welcomes the Houston Texans on Aug. 10, with a start time of 7 p.m. ET.
All practice times and dates will be updated once confirmed in the days leading into training camp. All outdoor training camp practices are open to the public and free to attend.
