Tom Brady Rumor 'Blew My Mind!' Patriots Legend 'Un-Retiring' AGAIN to Join Dolphins?
Tom Brady has of course earned the right to do however he pleases. And New England Patriots fans don't really get a vote when it comes to the GOAT.
But there is something a little ... what, unsettling? ... about the latest buzz as it relates to the all-time great QB.
Rich Eisen, the NFL Network anchor, has come away from having spent the week in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine with a rumor so weird that even he concedes that it is "mind-blowing.''
“This one just blew my mind,'' Eisen said. "Tom Brady might not be done after all.''
Eisen then named the Dolphins - a chief rival of the Pats in the AFC East - as the potential destination.
The Dolphins' connection with Brady is not a new one; there were rumors that even as he toiled for the Tampa Bay Bucs, he was conducting secret meetings in an effort to find his way to Miami ... to be involved there as a QB, as a boss, as an owner, as a Grand Poobah, whatever.
But at 45? He wants to un-do what he's done by saying a recent fitting and eloquent goodbye, all motivated of course by the go-to "desire to spend more time with my family''?
“The one place that folks are saying to keep an eye out for is Miami,” Eisen said. “If the Dolphins, somehow or some way get a doctor’s report or piece of information from a medical evaluation of Tua (Tagovailoa_ that he may not be ready to go, and suddenly there’s Tom Brady sitting in Florida, where his family is located and where he can easily locate himself.''
“Keep an eye out on that, I was told by a couple birdies at the Combine.”
