Tom Brady: 'What The F*** Is Going on Here?' New England Patriots Reaction vs. Dallas Cowboys
New England is not enjoying this present iteration of its beloved Patriots. But if it is of any comfort to anyone, Tom Brady seems as bothered and as frustrated as the next Patriots watcher.
“I just watch," Brady said, reflecting on outcomes like the one in Sunday's NFL Week 4, as the Pats were defeated 38-3 by the Dallas Cowboys."And it’s a hard thing because some things you just want to pull your hair out and go, ‘What the f*** is going on here?’”
Given that this was the worst loss in the iconic coach Bill Belichick's career. ... that's a very good question, as the Pats slip to 1-3 and into the basement of the tough AFC East. ... with the hope of some sort of rebound in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints.
During the latest episode of his "Let's Go!" podcast, Brady was largely talking more generally about what it's like to be retired and watching games ... or watching games at all when you are the guy who used to handle the ball on every snap as the quarterback ... and now there is no way for you to help.
Brady, even as the GOAT who lost more rarely than most, understands the pain of losing ... and shared those thoughts.
“It’s tough. I mean, losing in the NFL’s tough,” Brady said, via Sports Illustrated. “For me watching a lot of football, every loss hurts. ... It’s tough because you spent all week preparing and it didn’t go the way you wanted.”
And what are you - and Tom Brady - left with? That resounding, haunting question: ‘What the f*** is going on here?’”
