Here's what Patriots Cornerback Stephon Gilmore had to say after accepting the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2019 season.

During the NFL Honors ceremony Saturday night, New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year for the 2019 season. Gilmore becomes the first cornerback since Charles Woodson in 2009 to win the award. 

After accepting the award, Gilmore, who is a man of very few words, gave a short speech. Check it out:
