QB: Sefo Liufau, Colorado
Liufau led the Buffaloes to a Pac-12 South title this past season, finishing his career in Boulder with 9,746 passing yards and 61 touchdowns. Liufau holds 98 Colorado records, was named honorable mention All-Pac 12 in his final season and earned a Senior Bowl invite this winter. The 2016 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year, he is a projected late-round pick. Honorable Mention: Brad Kaaya, Miami (Fla.); Dakota Prukop, Oregon.
RB: I’Tavius Mathers, Middle Tennessee State
After transferring from Ole Miss and sitting out a year, Mathers shined in 2016, rushing for 1,561 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground, plus 633 yards and three scores as a receiver. He was named First Team All-Conference USA, and earned invites to the East-West Shrine Game and NFLPA Bowl Game. Honorable Mention: Samaje Perine, Oklahoma; Dare Ogunbowale, Wisconsin.
WR: Damore’ea Stringfellow, Ole Miss
After totaling 82 receptions for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns over two seasons at Ole Miss, Stringfellow decided to forgo his senior season and declare for the 2017 NFL Draft. Stringfellow began his collegiate career at Washington, before transferring to Ole Miss in 2014 in the wake of misdemeanor assault charges. He is a projected late-round pick. Honorable Mention: KD Cannon, Baylor; Kermit Whitfield, Florida State; JuJu Smith-Schuster, USC; Speedy Noil, Texas A&M; Spearman Robinson, Western Carolina.
TE: Standish Dobard, Miami (Fla.)
Dobard caught 18 passes for 284 yards and a touchdown in four years at Miami. But with just two catches midway through his senior season, and buried behind the draft-bound David Njoku on the Hurricanes depth chart, Dobard switched to defensive end, recording one tackle on that side of the ball. Honorable Mention: Jake Butt, Michigan; Phazahn Odom, Fordham.
OT: Storm Norton, Toledo
Norton started every game over the past two years at Toledo, helping the Rockets to consecutive nine-plus win seasons, while earning First Team All-MAC honors. Honorable Mention: Voghens Larrieux, Coastal Carolina; Andreas Knappe, UConn; Javarius Leamon, SC State.
Guard: Forrest Lamp, Western Kentucky
A potential first-round pick, Lamp garnered numerous accolades this past season at Western Kentucky, including first-team Conference USA and a USA Today second-team All-America nod. Lamp started 39 consecutive games (48 total) during his career with the Hilltoppers, missing two games his senior season due to injury. Lamp impressed at the combine as well, running a 5.0 40-yard dash, and putting up 34 reps on the bench press. Honorable Mention: Mario Yakoo, Boise State; Jake Eldrenkamp, Washington; Jessamen Dunker, Tennessee State.
Center: Chase Roullier, Wyoming
A three-time Mountain West All-Conference selection, Roullier (ROO-lee-ay) helped anchor the Cowboys’ offensive line over the past three seasons, switching to center last fall after extended time at guard. Roullier was the first Wyoming player to get All-America recognition (second team, USA Today) since 2006. Honorable Mention: Brandon Kublanow, Georgia; Cam Keizur, Portland State
DE: Tanoh Kpassagnon, Villanova
The Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year and an FCS All-America selection, Kpassagnon led his conference with 11.0 sacks and 21.5 tackles for a loss this past year. Kpassagnon finished his Villanova career with 37.5 tackles for a loss and 22 sacks, and he has been projected to go as high as the second round. Honorable Mention: Taco Charlton, Michigan; Ifeadi Odenigbo, Northwestern; Gimel President, Illinois.
DT: Chunky Clements, Illinois
A two-year starter for the Illini, Clements (full name Jarrod Clements Jr.) finished his career with 6.0 sacks, 25.5 tackles for a loss, five passes defended and four forced fumbles. Honorable Mention: Stevie Tu'ikolovatu, USC; Pasoni Tasini, Utah; Shalom Ogbonda, Florida Atlantic
OLB: Ironhead Gallon, Georgia Southern
Gallon earned an All-Sun Belt first-team nod last season with 102 tackles and 6.0 tackles for a loss, and he ended his career with 232 tackles and 16.5 tackles for a loss. His legal first name is Deshawntee; he was nicknamed "Ironhead" as a child by his father. He may move to safety in the pros.
ILB: Charmeachealle Moore, Kansas State
Moore started all 13 games for the Wildcats this past season, and finished tied for second on the team with 75 tackles. Growing up, he went by Mike, but early in his college career he switched to his given name to honor his father, who died of a heart attack in 2015. Honorable Mention: Raekwon McMillan, Ohio State; Folarin Orimolade, Darmouth; Salamo Fiso, Arizona State.
CB: Ahkello Witherspoon, Colorado
Playing in every game of Colorado’s breakout 2016 season, Witherspoon led the nation in pass breakups with 22, earning second-team All-Pac 12 honors. Now he could sneak into the first two days of the draft. Witherspoon, whose full name is James Ahkello Elec Witherspoon, aspires to be a doctor after his playing career. Honorable Mention: Corn Elder, Miami (Fla.); Chidobe Awuzie, Colorado; Torren McGaster, Vanderbilt; Nana Kyeremeh, West Virginia.
Safety: Weston Steelhammer, Air Force
A first-team All-Mountain West selection, Steelhammer led the Falcons in tackles with 80 and interceptions with five. His 11 career interceptions also rank fifth in program history. Steelhammer was recruited to Air Force to play both football and baseball, but quickly became the starter at safety his sophomore season. He is a projected late-round pick. Honorable Mention: Randall Goforth, UCLA; Fish Smithson, Kansas.
Specialist: Dalton Schomp, Florida Atlantic
A member of the 2016 Ray Guy Watch List, Schomp ranked No. 36 nationally in yards per punt with a 42.6-yard average in his senior season at FAU. The redshirt senior had a career high 10 punts, and set a program record for punting yards with 466 in FAU’s 52-3 loss to Western Kentucky last season.
