Raiders Vs. Packers Live Game Updates, Analysis

The Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) look to return to their winning ways tonight vs. the Green Bay Packers (2-2), and we have all the up-to-the-minute updates for you.

LAS VEGAS, Nev.--The Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) desperately need a victory tonight against the Green Bay Packers (2-2) in yet another early season must-win game for both teams.

With mounting pressure from his fan base and locker room, Raiders Coach Josh McDaniels has to get his team back on track.

Additionally, this season, we are excited to invite you to comment on the game in real time, as we have now added a comment section that we will be checking on throughout the game.

Remember the rule of five. The game is over if the Raiders win that key statistical battle. It concerns sacks and turnovers for those who don't remember it. If the Raiders have three sacks and give up two, they are plus one. They are plus three if they get four turnovers and give up only one. That would give them a plus-four for the day. They want to get to a plus-five ratio every game. On average, teams that reach the rule of five scenarios win 91 percent of their NFL games.

The Las Vegas Raiders adjusted from their slow start, a promising sign for Raiders' fans as the turnaround has usually waited until the second half so far this season.

After not being able to get the ground game going yet again, the Raiders began to show glimpses of how effective their run game can be when running back running back Josh Jacobs gets open lanes.

While Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been quiet in his reunion with his old team (one reception for 12 yards), his teammate Jakobi Meyers has carried the load, as he finished the half with 53 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, the Raiders' defense has been solid in limiting Packers quarterback Jordan Love. Like the offense, it was able to recover early after allowing Green Bay's rushing game to thrive in the first quarter.

Through the efforts of Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby and the rest of the defensive line, the yards became a rarity for Green Bay toward the latter stretch of the half.

Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane's interception certainly helped as well.
