Report: Raiders Early 2024 Power Rankings

Report: the Las Vegas Raiders potentially take a step backward next year under the leadership of Antonio Pierce, according to early 2024 power rankings.

The Las Vegas Raiders finished the 2023 season as the 20th-best team in the National Football League, thus garnering the 13th spot in the upcoming NFL Draft.

As interim coach, Antonio Pierce led the Silver and Black on an impressive 5-4 run. He was given his "Dream job" by owner Mark Davis and is the permanent head man.

Entering 2024, optimism is high in Raider Nation as Pierce will have his coaching staff in place with every position filled. He will have a roster containing players he wants and a critical offseason to implement the Pierce protocols and system.

All signs point to an improved Raiders team that, with all of last seaaon against them, still finished one game out of the playoffs.

ESPN came out with their early 2024 power rankings and have the Raiders at 24th. Predicting the Raiders to take a step back from 20th, where they ended the season, to 24th is an interesting opinion.

While I wouldn't call the ranking disrespectful, it is an opinion, but one I disagree with.

Pierce held this franchise together with scotch tape and glue sticks. With an entire offseason to scheme, his staff, and multiple new players that he wants, the Raiders are poised to get above .500, in my opinion, and make a legitimate run at the NFL Playoffs.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
