Oregon's QB Bo Nix "Great Visit With Raiders"
On Friday morning, the media had the opportunity to interview a variety of positions including quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs invited to the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Ind.
Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was one of the many quarterbacks who had the chance to talk to the media Friday morning.
Nix spent five college seasons as a quarterback at Auburn and Oregon.
During his time with the Auburn Tigers, Nix played three seasons, and in 34 games he completed 628 passesmon 1,057 attempts for 7,251 yards and 39 touchdowns.
Nix transferred to Oregon, where played in 27 games and completed 658 passes on 879 attempts and 74 touchdowns.
According to Pro Football Focus, Nix finished his last season with the Ducks with a PFF offensive grade of 93.0 and a passing grade of 92.7.
Nix met with the Silver and Black during the NFL Combine and had the chance to talk about the meeting with the Raiders and his thoughts on the organization.
"Yes, sir I thought it was a great visit, obviously really great organization," Nix said. "They are doing some really good powerful things right now. I'm not going to get into too much information and detail with the meetings. I do think there are a lot of great places right now and everybody is working really hard not only to get better on the field, but to grow relationships and to take in this process and use it to their best ability."
Nix is projected to be a first-round draft pick in this year's 2024 NFL Draft and was a 2023 Heisman Trophy finalist.
The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
