Houston OL Paul on Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders might be looking to add more talent this offseason to their offensive line, as the team has three offensive linemen who are free agents.
One of the offensive linemen the Silver and Black could add this offseason is Patrick Paul of Houston in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The six-foot seven, 315-pound Paul played five college seasons with the Houston Cougars and was an ESPN Second-Team All-American selection and a First-Team All-Big 12 Conference selection.'
According to Pro Football Focus, Paul finished his junior year with a PFF offensive grade of 81.1, a pass-blocking grade of 91.5, and a run-blocking grade of 69.4. His 81.8 offense grade led all tackles in the Big 12 Conference. He also finished with 98.9 percent pass blocking efficiency.
At the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Ind., Paul ran a 5.13 40-yard dash, a 1.77 10-yard spilt, a 29-inch verticle jump, a 7.65 3-cone drill, and produced 30 reps on the bench press.
Paul gave his thoughts at the Combine on Raiders Coach Antonio Pierce.
"That's a great organization, I think the head coach they have, Coach Pierce is a great coach, I haven't met with them yet, but that is a great team," Paul said.
Paul is projected to be a second-round draft pick in this year's 2024 NFL Draft and the Raiders could look to select him and add more talent to the offensive line.
