The Las Vegas Raiders have made an effort to generously give back to the community since coming to Las Vegas in 2020.

The club announced on Wednesday that it had recently hosted a back-to-school event for more than 300 students from elementary and high schools around the Las Vegas area at Intermountain Health Performance Center.

The Raider and various partners in the area provided the students with supplies.

Shoe Palace, for instance, helped provide new shoes for the students, while Quaker Oats Company and Foodie fit contributed snacks for the upcoming school year.

The team also gifted the students with Raiders merchandise.

The event included students from the Bob Price Recreation Center, Neighborhood Recreation Center, Pearson Community Center, Silver Mesa Recreation Center and Walnut Recreation Center summer programs.

Students were able to pick up their supplies from numerous booths set up around the indoor field of Intermountain Health Performance Center.

There were also inflatable activities for the students to enjoy, as well as drills led by the Raiderettes.

The Las Vegas Raiders open training camp for the entire team on July 25, 2023.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
