Bills' Long Snapper Addresses Josh Jacobs' Pro Bowl Complaint
Sunday's Pro Bowl looked much different than in past years, with a revised seven-on-seven flag football format and various other competitions mixed in.
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs had already stated his disapproval of the changes when he said: "This s--- is stupid," via Tashan Reed of The Athletic.
While blunt, Jacobs' statement can be viewed as somewhat valid, as the Pro Bowl has gone away from what fans want to see from the best of the best: a real football game.
Not everyone felt Jacobs' comment was reasonable, however.
Reid Ferguson, long snapper for the Buffalo Bills, quote tweeted a tweet from Barstool Sports, which included Jacobs' statement, with the following message:
"I don't understand his point here. You earned the right to go there, collect a Pro Bowl check, and also knew what the Pro Bowl has turned into. If it's so 'stupid,' forgo the weekend in Vegas. Am I missing something?"
Perhaps both sides have a point.
Regardless of the format, the Pro Bowl is an honor and a tradition.
Jacobs participated and said he had fun in the final flag football game via Raiders.com.
Jacobs, Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby, AJ Cole and Derek Carr all represented the Raiders in Sunday's Pro Bowl in front of their home crowd at Allegiant Stadium.
