Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro pass rusher Chandler Jones was arrested in Las Vegas early Friday morning and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for violation of a temporary protection order.

New details emerged on Friday afternoon when Las Vegas Locally posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Jones had stolen items from his ex-girlfriend's residence and burned them in his backyard. Meanwhile, he took video recordings of the act and sent them to her.

Las Vegas Locally reported this was a day after Jones had been served a restraining order and that he is out on bail.

The Raiders posted the following message on social media on Friday afternoon {EST)/late morning (PST):

"The Raiders are hopeful that Chandler Jones receives the care that he needs. He, his family, and all those involved are in our thoughts. As this is now a legal matter, we will not be providing further comment."

Raiders Coach Josh McDaniels had the following to say at his Friday press conference:

"I mean, I care for all of them," McDaniels said. "You know what I mean? I think we all do. Want the best for all of our players, former players, etc. So, like I said, that will never change. So, that part is going to be there now and forever, for all the guys we've coached and we got an opportunity to know and work with. So we just kind of take it as it comes here as we're going through this, and we'll continue to try to do the best we can."

Jones has not played a game or participated in practice this 2023 season.

After spending the first two weeks on the injury report, Jones was placed on the non-football illness list on Sept. 20.

According to Tashan Reed of The Athletic, Jones' bail was set at $15,000, and a court date was set for Dec. 4, 2023.

The Silver and Black return to the road this week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
