Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has been in the National Football League for a long time, and he knows a winner's mentality when he sees it.

Adams strives to be the best and is regarded as the top wide receiver in the NFL. That's why it resonates with him when he witnesses a player like Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby, who carries the same mindset daily.

"I mean, it's inspiring, man," Adams told reporters on Wednesday. "No matter if I'm older than them, more experienced, or whatever, I look up to a guy like that.

Las Vegas Raiders Maxx Crosby is an elite player who inspires Davante Adams to be even better.

"And I told him that just the other day. It doesn't necessarily mean I look up to you like an idol, but like I said, that's really inspiring to see somebody, especially that young -- it's hard to think like Maxx [Crosby] is a young guy, but he's still really young. I mean, he's the type of dude -- not to blow him up too much -- but that's the type of dude who can play like, God willing, 20 years, just because of what he puts into it, how he takes care of his body.

"I mean, he's going a million miles an hour every week. I mean, you all see the way that he plays. At this point, it's like you just shake your head when you're watching the tape.

"It's not like I'm like blown away, I don't come off like: 'Oh my God!' It's just like, how do you continue to do that? But it's just a certain amount of pride that goes into what he does, and it's the closest to -- other than Aaron Rodgers -- that I've played with to my mentality as far as the way that I go out there every single time I take the field, that intention and just the need to dominate is unbelievable when I watch him. So, it's inspiring."

The Silver and Black will head out on the road to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
