Davante Adams Among PFF's List of Top Players Over 30
Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams isn't getting any younger, but he isn't declining in production.
The veteran wideout, approaching 30 years and five months of age, is gearing up for his 10th NFL season.
When it comes to wide receivers, typically, the ones we categorize as legendary have held their prime through their 10th season. It seems we could have another rarity in Adams.
The star Raiders receiver is riding three straight seasons of first-team All-Pro honors and attained his second-highest receiving yards last season, trailing only his campaign from the previous year.
In a recent article by John Kosko of Pro Football Focus, Kosko ranked Adams at No. 4 on his Top-30 list of NFL players over 30.
The writer wrote the following:
"A season ago, Adams quietly had one of the best seasons of any receiver, but no one noticed because the Raiders struggled to win games. Adams' 14 touchdowns led the league, and his combined 92.9 grade over the past two seasons is the third-best mark of any player over the age of 30."
Ahead of Adams on the list were Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce at No. 3, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald at No. 2, and San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams at No. 1.
