For the second time in his NFL career, Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams led the league in receiving touchdowns last season.

His 14 touchdowns were the second most in his career thus far, trailing only his 2020 season in which he posted an incredible 18 touchdown receptions for the Green Bay Packers.

Adams' touchdown total wasn't the only thing impressive about his ability to find the end zone last season, there was also the way in which he did it.

Pro Football Focus tweeted on Wednesday that nine of the veteran wide receiver's touchdowns were on 30-plus-yard receptions, the most in a single season in the PFF era which began in 2006.

Adams was able to accomplish this feat despite it having been his first year without one of the greatest to ever play the game in quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

While he had familiarity with former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr from their days together at Fresno State, it had been a decade since the two had played with one another.

Not to mention, Adams was coming into a completely new system for the first time in nine years.

Adams finished the 2022 campaign with 1,516 receiving yards, which placed him third in the league. He was named to his third-straight All-Pro team and selected to his sixth-career Pro Bowl for his efforts.

Adams has totaled 87 receiving touchdowns to go along with 9,637 receiving yards as he heads into his 10th NFL season.

He will be playing for yet another new quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, should he be ready to suit up for the season as expected. But Adams has proven already that isn't a problem for him.

Adams does what the great ones do: thrive no matter where and no matter with whom.
