The Las Vegas Raiders are continuing to prepare for their Week One game against the Denver Broncos this Sunday.

One Raiders offensive player is known for playing very well against the Denver Broncos in his career.

Josh Jacobs finally gets to suit up for the Raiders this Sunday as the starting running back. Recently, the 25-year-old signed a one-year deal worth more than $10 million for the 2023-24 NFL season.

The former first-round draft pick is known for performing very well against Denver. This will be the eighth time the All-Pro running back will play against the Broncos.

Last season, Josh Jacobs had outstanding numbers against the Broncos. The first game between the Raiders and Broncos was on Week Four of the 2022-23 NFL season. Jacobs rushed for 144 yards on 28 attempts, with 5.1 yards per carry, and two touchdowns. The Raiders won this game, 32-23.

The second game between the Raiders and Broncos was in Week 10 of the 2022-23 NFL season. Jacobs rushed for 109 yards on 24 carries, 4.5 yards per carry. He also finished the game with 51 receiving yards.

In total, Josh Jacobs has 154 carries for 721 yards and nine touchdowns in seven games against the Broncos.

Broncos Coach Sean Payton had the chance to speak on the starting running back for the Silver and Black and gave the All-Pro pro much respect.

"He certainly is one of the more dominant running backs in the NFL, so that's how we'll approach the game," Payton said. "He might have missed all of training camp and whatnot, but he's a hard runner and he led the league in rushing last year for a reason. He prides himself on his work and that's why he did what he did."

Jacobs is entering the fifth season as the Silver and Black starting running back. This season will also be the first season the All-Pro running back will wear a different number.

This offseason, Jacobs changed his number from 28 to 8. He wore the No. 8 while playing college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Finally, it is game week; the talking is finally over.

Be on the lookout for Jacobs as he suits up and plans to play very well against the Denver Broncos once this Sunday.

The Silver and Black open the regular season at the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 4:25 p.m. EDT/1:25 p.m. PDT.
