Three Things to Watch For as the Raiders Play Lions

Tonight's Las Vegas Raiders vs Detroit Lions game offers three things to watch for as they go head-to-head on Monday Night Football.

There are three things to watch as the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Detroit Lions for tonight's Week 8 game in Ford Field.

It starts with Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. If Garoppolo finishes the game with a passer rating of 100.0 or better he would notch his 35th career game with a 100.0-plus passer rating.

Garoppolo would pass recently retired quarterback Matt Ryan (34) for tie for the seventh most games in NFL history with a 100-plus rating among quarterbacks in their first 81 career NFL games.

This will be Garoppolo's sixth game playing for the Raiders, and he has 1,079 passing yards, seven touchdowns and eight interceptions, with an 82.6 quarterback rating.

Wide receiver Davante Adams is also a player to watch on the Raiders' offense for tonight's game. With four receptions tonight, Adams would pass wide receiver Andre Johnson (818) for the 10th most receptions in NFL history among players in their first 10 NFL seasons. Also with four receptions tonight, Adams would become the fifth player in Raiders history since tight end Darren Waller in 2020, to record 50-plus receptions in the first eight games of a season.

Adams has 46 receptions for 528 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Lastly, Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby is a player to watch as the Raiders take on the Lions. With a half sack, Crosby will become the 13th player in the NFL since 1982 to record 7.0 sacks in each of his first five seasons. With one tackle for a loss for tonight, Crosby would become the seventh player in the NFL since 1999 to record at least 10 tackles for losses in each of his first five seasons.

Crosby has 40 combined tackles with 16 assists and 6.5 sacks this season.

Be on the lookout for all three of these Raider players as they are on record watch and look to upset the Lions in Ford Field in tonight's Week 8 Monday Night Football game.

The Silver and Black will stay on the road to take on the Detroit Lions on Monday night, Oct. 30, at 8:15 p.m. EDT/5:15 p.m. PDT.
