Looking at Week 6 of Fantasy Football for the Raiders
For a third consecutive week, the Las Vegas Raiders had a different leader in fantasy football, a testament to their play distribution in their Week 5 Monday Night Football victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Here is how some of the Raiders' top fantasy players performed and what can be expected of them in Week 6:
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers
Meyers turned in another strong performance in the victory over Green Bay, finishing with seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown.
That earned Meyers 20.5 PPR (points per reception) fantasy points and 13.5 non-PPR points for Week 5.
ESPN projects Meyers to record 14.0 PPR points and 8.3 non-PPR points on Sunday against his former team, the New England Patriots.
Running back Josh Jacobs
For a second week in a row, Jacobs looked like the JJ of last season, as he wound up with 69 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus 20 yards on five receptions.
That was good enough for 19.9 PPR points and 14.9 non-PPR points.
ESPN projects Jacobs to post 18.2 PPR points and 13.8 non-PPR points in Week 6.
Wide receiver Davante Adams
Adams took a bit of a backseat this week, but he still made an impact with 45 yards on four receptions.
That earned him only 8.5 PPR points and 4.5 non-PPR points.
ESPN anticipates the star wide receivee to be much more present in Week 6, as it projects him to total 19.6 PPR points and 12.3 non-PPR points on Sunday.
Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo
Garoppolo did enough for the Raiders to win in Week 5, but it likely wasn't a pleasing performance for his fantasy owners.
With 208 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception, Garoppolo finished with only 10.72 PPR and non-PPR points.
ESPN projects him to tally 12.8 PPR and non-PPR points in Week 6.
Kicker Daniel Carlson
Carlson was not himself on Monday night. That is not to say two field goals from 50-plus yards are sure things, but with Carlson, some fans might think so.
Carlson ended up withonly 3.0 PPR and non-PPR points, but is projected by ESPN to notch 7.0 in both categories this weekend.
The Silver and Black will stay home at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to play the New England Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
