Looking at Week 7 of Fantasy Football for the Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders once again got production from All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, with a bounce-back performance from kicker Daniel Carlson.
All three had big weeks in fantasy football and are expected to carry that momentum into Week 7, along with a couple of rising rookies.
Here's how the Raiders performed in fantasy football on Sunday and what is expected of them on Sunday against the Chicago Bears:
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers
For a second straight week, Meyers led the way for the Raiders in fantasy as he finished the weekend with 17.1 PPR (points per reception) fantasy points and 12.1 non-PPR points. He posted 61 receiving yards on five receptions, including one touchdown.
ESPN projects Meyers to register 13.1 PPR points and 8.3 non-PPR points on Sunday.
Running back Josh Jacobs
Jacobs continues to redeem himself after the slow start to his 2023 season.
In Week 6, he ended up with 77 rushing yards and 16 receiving yards on two receptions, good for 11.3 PPR points and 9.3 non-PPR points.
ESPN expects quite a performance out of Jacobs in Week 7, as he is projected to tally 18.6 PPR and 15.0 non-PPR points.
Tight end Michael Mayer
Mayer finished Week 6 with 75 receiving yards on five receptions, which earned him 12.5 PPR points and 7.5 non-PPR points.
On Sunday, ESPN projects the rookie tight end to collect 6.1 PPR points and 3.8 non-PPR points.
Wide receiver Tre Tucker
Mayer wasn't the only rookie to have an impactful performance for Las Vegas in Week 6.
Tucker, thanks to his 48-yard reception, ended up with 57 yards on two receptions. He added four rushing yards as well.
This earned the rookie wide receiver 8.1 PPR points and 6.1 non-PPR points.
ESPN projects Tucker to total just 2.5 PPR points and 1.7 non-PPR points in Week 7.
Kicker Daniel Carlson
Carlson redeemed his underachieving Week 5 performance with a big-time Week 6 outing, recording four field goals and an extra point. He earned 13.0 PPR and non-PPR points.
ESPN projects Carlson to post 7.7 PPR and non-PPR points this week.
The Silver and Black will head on the road to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
