Looking at Week 17 of Fantasy Football for the Raiders
Just as every remaining game is a must-win for the Las Vegas Raiders, so too is it win-or-go-home time in most fantasy football leagues.
With Las Vegas coming off back-to-back statement victories yet still desperate to keep its season alive, it might be in fantasy managers' best interest to add some of the Raiders' primary scorers to their team if a boost is needed.
Here are the Raiders' top fantasy point scorers from Week 16 and what can be expected of them on Sunday:
Raiders' defense
For a second week in a row, the Raiders' defense dominated, and in doing so, it scored two touchdowns again.
Raiders defensive tackle Bilal Nichols found the end zone on a scoop and score for his team's first touchdown of the game, while cornerback Jack Jones answered with a pick-six seven seconds later. The group also added four sacks.
The defense earned 21.0 PPR (points per reception) fantasy points and non-PPR points. The unit has led all NFL defenses over the last two weeks with 46 fantasy points.
ESPN projects the Raiders' defense to record 6.6 points against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Running back Zamir White
White also had a second straight big-time performance, this time rushing for an incredible 145 yards while stepping in for an injured Josh Jacobs.
That earned him 14.5 PPR points and non-PPR points.
White is projected by ESPN to post only 1.9 PPR points and 1.6 non-PPR points against the Colts.
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers
Meyers has genuinely been the Raiders' most consistent wideout this season. Despite Las Vegas totaling only 48 passing yards in their victory on Monday, the first-year Raider registered 42 yards on three receptions to earn 7.2 PPR points and 4.2 non-PPR points.
ESPN projects Meyers to finish with 11.5 PPR points and 6.9 non-PPR points in Week 17.
Kicker Daniel Carlson
Carlson was the only non-defensive player to put points on the board for the Raiders in their Week 16 victory.
The All-Pro kicker made a 24- and 35-yard field goals in the victory, ultimately tallying 6.0 PPR and non-PPR points.
Carlson is projected by ESPN to post 7.3 PPR and non-PPR points on Sunday.
The Silver and Black continue the season on New Year's Eve versus the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
