Five Broncos Ruled Out For Sunday's Week 11 Game
The Denver Broncos will be without five players in Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, with more potentially on the way.
On Friday, the Broncos announced in their final Week 11 injury report that starting linebacker Jonas Griffith, free safety K'Waun Williams, wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, and tight end Andrew Beck have all been ruled out for the divisional match-up.
Along with those five, outside linebacker Baron Browning, offensive guard Tom Compton, offensive tackle Cameron Fleming, offensive guard Graham Glasgow and wide receiver Kendall Hinton are questionable for Sunday's game.
"It's unbelievably unfortunate," Broncos Coach Nathaniel Hackett said in his Friday media availability. "We've got great people here. We've got the strength staff, the training room, everybody. And we're evaluating everything. We're looking at it, but I mean, those guys work, and we've all looked into what we can do, how we can prevent things.
"Obviously, when things happen out on the field, I mean, you can't prevent those, but we're looking at it all. I mean, we have them do so many different things from hydration tests to sleep monitoring, asking them survey[s], as much as we can. And sometimes things happen. And for whatever reason, it's happened a lot this year, and it's unfortunate, but it gives other guys opportunities to play."
