The Las Vegas Raiders will face off against the Green Bay Packers at Allegiant Stadium on Monday Night Football.

The Packers’ offense is young and inexperienced, but they are a talented group. First-year starting quarterback Jordan Love has done a solid job developing chemistry with his youthful group of pass catchers.

Those young wide receivers and tight ends have made an impact already this season, but one wide receiver has stood out in particular. Second-year man Romeo Doubs is off to a good start and has proven he can be a good player at the professional level.

When the Packers named Love their starting quarterback and surrounded him with first and second-year pass catchers, it would be interesting to see who he would gravitate toward as his top target. So far, that has turned out to be Doubs.

Doubs leads the Packers in targets, receptions, yards and touchdowns. He has caught 20 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns through first four games. Doubs had 12 targets against the New Orleans Saints and 13 against the Detroit Lions, clearly separating himself as the Packers’ No. 1 wide receiver.

Doubs is 6-foot-2 and 204 pounds, and was a fourth-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Nevada. He appeared in 13 games in his rookie season, catching 42 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns. He is on pace to shatter those numbers in his second season as he becomes the top option in the Packers’ passing game.

Doubs has elite speed for his size and thrives against zone coverage, with good hands and top-tier ball skills. He caught two touchdowns against the Chicago Bears in Week 1, going up over the top of his defender to make an incredible catch for his first one. He played similarly against the Saints in the fourth quarter of their comeback victory.

Doubs has shown he is not afraid to play in the air on the ball.

The Raiders will have to deal with several young and talented pass catchers on this Packers offense, but No. 87 might be their biggest problem.

Doubs, a big, physical receiver, should again see significant targets from Love.

If the Raiders want to slow down the Packers’ offense, finding a way to stop Doubs will be high on their list of priorities.

The Silver and Black return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas tonight to play the Green Bay Packers at 8:15 p.m. EDT/5:15 p.m. PDT.
