3 Things to Watch for as the Raiders Play the Packers
The Las Vegas Raiders are less than 24 hours away from kickoff against the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. This will be the first time these two clubs will go against each other since the 2019 NFL regular season.
There are three things to watch for this Monday night against the Packers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The first thing to watch for against the Raiders is running back Josh Jacobs. If Jacobs has 94 rushing yards on Monday night, he would become the fourth player in Raiders history to reach 5,000 career rushing yards. He would also be the second Raider to accomplish this in 65 games or fewer.
If Jacobs gets 44 receiving or more, he would surpass Billy Lott (216) for most receiving yards by a running back in Raiders history through their first five games of a single season.
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers also is a player to watch Monday night against the Packers. With 76 receiving yards or more, Meyers would become the 13th undrafted player in NFL history to record 3,000-plus receiving yards in his first 63 career games.
If Meyers also finishes the game with nine receptions or more, he would surpass wide receiver Danny Amendola (261) for the fourth most receptions by an undrafted player in their first 64 career games.
Lastly, wide receiver Davante Adams is another player to watch for on Monday night against the Packers. If Adams gets a touchdown reception against the Packers, he will notch his 32nd receiving touchdown in prime-time games, surpassing wide receiver Antonino Brown's 31. Adams is behind Hall of Fame wide receivers Jerry Rice (46), Randy Moss (44) and Terrell Owens (34).
Be on the lookout for these three players on the Raiders' offense, as all of them are on record-breaking watch against the Packers on Monday night.
The Silver and Black return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas tonight to play the Green Bay Packers at 8:15 p.m. EDT/5:15 p.m. PDT.
