Throughout last season and this offseason, one Las Vegas Raiders Pro Bowler in particular has flown under the radar amidst all the noise that has come with the Josh McDaniels-Dave Ziegler regime.

Two seasons ago, wide receiver Hunter Renfrow was considered one of the best slot receivers in the NFL, and many might still consider him to be. But a subpar 2022 campaign -- that can mostly be attributed to injury -- has buried the wideout under the expectations surrounding second-year Raider Davante Adams and new Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers.

Renfrow's time with the Silver and Black could be nearing an end, as it's very possible the organization could trade him by the time the 2023-24 season rolls around.

One teammate of Renfrow's, cornerback Isiah "Ike" Brown, however, has experience going against the 2021-22 Pro Bowler in practice and believes he still holds a lot of value when he's able to step on the gridiron.

"No disrespect, but I would rather guard Tae [Adams] than Hunter," Brown said when he joined the "UCE Nation Podcast" in April. " ... He's like a puzzle, man. And it's like a puzzle you can't figure out. So he's very smart, man. And it's just like, he's very quiet and humble."

Renfrow's 2021 campaign was one to remember, as the receiver led the team with 1,038 receiving yards on 103 receptions (third most in franchise history).

He recorded only 330 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 10 games last season, making only one start.

Overall, Renfrow has totaled 2,629 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in his four seasons as a Raider.

Brown was signed by the Raiders in July of 2022 and has served as a practice squad player.

Las Vegas waived him on Aug. 31, 2022 but re-signed him the next day.

Before joining the Raiders, Brown played for the New Orleans Breakers of the USFL. He came into the NFL in 2020 as an undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills.

The Raiders signed Brown to a reserve/future contract in January.
