The Las Vegas Raiders will have to prepare for another key member of the Kansas City Chiefs' offense on Christmas Day, one they especially had trouble with the first time around this season.

Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid told reporters on Monday that he expects Isiah Pacheco to be ready to play next Monday.

Pacheco sustained a shoulder contusion against the Green Bay Packers on Week 13 and has missed the Chiefs' last two games. He received surgery on his shoulder ahead of Kansas City's game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

"He'll be back this week," Reid said. "He'll be good to go this week, unless there's further setback, but I mean, right now, everything's positive for him to go. And he really had clearance to go last week from the fella who did the surgery."

In the Chiefs' Week 12 victory over the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Pacheco ran for two touchdowns. He totaled 55 rushing yards and 34 receiving yards in Kansas City's 31-17 victory.

In the Raiders' season finale against the Chiefs last season, Pacheco ran for 64 yards and a touchdown en route to Kansas City's 31-13 victory at Allegiant Stadium.

Pacheco, who was a rookie at the time, went on to have a solid postseason in the Chiefs' run to the Super Bowl title. He rushed for 95 yards in their divisional round game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, posted 85 scrimmage yards in the AFC Championship game against the Cincinnati Bengals and scored a rushing touchdown in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Through 29 NFL games in his career, Pacheco has totaled 1,609 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 339 receiving yards on 46 receptions and one receiving touchdown.

Despite missing two games this season, Pacheco has 779 rushing yards and on pace to surpass his total from last season.

The Silver and Black will return to action versus their AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Don't miss it on Monday, December 25, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
