Many Las Vegas Raider defensive players can take the next step and impact the Silver and Black defense next season.

Particularly in the defensive back room, three Raider defensive backs stand out as players who can reach that next level.

The first is Raiders cornerback Jack Jones, who made a massive impact when Las Vegas claimed him off waivers midseason last year. In seven games, Jones recorded 25 combined tackles, 20 solo tackles, one tackle for loss, and two interceptions.

Jones finished the 2023-24 NFL season with a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 71.6, an 81.7 run defense grade, a pass-rush grade of 69.4, and a coverage grade of 71.9.

Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs is also a defensive back capable of taking the next step in the defensive back room. Hobbs ended his third season with the Silver and Black with 86 combined tackles, 59 solo tackles, six tackles, one sack, and one interception.

Pro Football Focus gave Hobbs an overall grade of 69.0, a 78.8 run defense grade, a 45.8 pass-rush grade, and a coverage grade 68.1 for his 2023 season.

Last, but not least, is Raiders safety Tre'von Moehrig. In his third season with the Silver and Black, Moehrig posted 83 combined tackles, 65 solo tackles, one tackle for loss, eight passes defended, and a career-high three interceptions while starting all 17 games.

Moehrig finished the 2023 season with a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 70.2, a 73.4 run defense grade, a 64.7 pass-rush grade, and a coverage grade of 68.0.

All three defensive backs will look to be factors for the Silver and Black's defense next season.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
