After leading the Las Vegas Raiders in receiving in their Week 1 victory over the Denver Broncos, Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers missed the second game of the season while being in the concussion protocol.

The Raiders sorely missed Meyers' presence and production in a loss to the Buffalo Bills, as the offense struggled to move the ball and turned the ball over four times.

Meyers returns to the lineup as he is out of concussion protocol. The former New England Patriot led the franchise in receiving yards for three straight seasons without many other threats at receiver on his team but him. He now plays opposite arguably the best wide receiver in the National Football League, Davante Adams.

Playing alongside Adams and the many other receiving options on the Raiders' offense has led Meyers to face more one-on-one coverage than he's ever seen.

"I would say, this is the most I remember," Meyers said. "I'm trying to take advantage of each one."

The Raiders turned the page to their home opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

Meyers shared that he briefly checked out Pittsburgh's defense on Monday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns.

"They play hard, I don't know if you all watched the last game but they were all over the place," Meyers said. "Attacking the ball, playing feisty, getting their hands on the ball and just being at the right place at the right time. We have to make sure as the offense we're protecting the ball, protecting each other, and doing the best we can."

Meyers went from one historic organization to another and is excited to be playing in front of his friends, family, and the home crowd at Allegiant Stadium.

"First time, it's my first home and it's going to be a lot," Meyers said. "I'm going to have a lot of family there, so hopefully I can put a show on for them."

It is still early, but Las Vegas' offense is different with and without Meyers on the field. Meyers returning to the field should mean good things for a Raiders' offense, which didn't look like themselves last week against Buffalo.

The Silver and Black return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8:20 p.m. EDT/5:20 p.m. PDT.
