Here's a close look at the last time Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs defenses went head-to-head before their Week 16 game on Christmas Day.
In this story:

The countdown to Christmas and the Week 16 game against the Kansas City Chiefs has begun for the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Raiders will be playing the Chiefs for the second and final time this season at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, one of the toughest stadiums to play on the road in the NFL.

The last game between the Chiefs and Raiders on Week 12 this season at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas offered two of the best AFC West defenses going head-to-head.

Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane led the way, finishing the game with the most tackles on the Silver and Black defense. Spillane played 60 snaps, finishing with 11 combined tackles, including six  solos.

On Christmas Day, it will be Spillane's third career game against the Chiefs, as he has 11 solo tackles and 13 assists in the first two.

Linebacker Drue Tranquill led the way for the Chiefs, finishing the game with with eight tackles, six solos and two tackles for losses on 58 snaps.

Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs also had an excellent game playing 60 snaps and making eight tackles, seven of them being solos and had one tackle for a loss. He has 22 solo tackles and five assists in five games against the Chiefs.

Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed played 58 snaps, finishing with nine combined tackles and seven solos. Sneed has 20 solo tackles and eight assists in five games against the Raiders.

Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby also had a great game earlier this season against the Chiefs, playing 49 snaps and making one tackle for a loss and one sack. He is known for producing great numbers against the Chiefs. Crosby has 19 solo tackles, 12 assists and five sacks in nine games versus the Chiefs.

Chiefs edge rusher George Karlaftis played 47 snaps, finishing the game with three tackles, one for a loss and one sack.

With how well the Silver and Black defense has been playing recently, it will be fascinating to watch how well the Raiders perform against a high-powered Chiefs offense on Christmas Day.

The Silver and Black will return to action versus their AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Don't miss it on Monday, December 25, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
