Daniel Carlson, Not the Only Carlson Kicker in the NFL
It is always very unique when there are family ties in the NFL. Now two kickers get to kick in the NFL.
Anders Carlson now gets to kick in the NFL with his older brother Daniel Carlson. During the 2023 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers sewlected Anders Carlson, a kicker, out of Auburn, in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Both brothers attended Auburn, kicking for the Tigers. Anders Carlson spent a total of five seasons kicking at Auburn, playing in a total of 56 games. He made 79 field goals during his career at Auburn. He also finished his career with a total of 173 extra points.
Daniel Carlson has proven to be one of the best kickers in the National Football League. He is entering his seventhth season as the Raiders All-Pro kicker. He finished last season as the second-best kicker, behind Ravens All-Pro Kicker Justin Tucker. Carlson last season made 34 field goals, with a field goal percentage of 91.9 percent.
