"I loved it, just even talking about it now, hearing you say AP just gives me chills, listening to his speeches, listening to him talk, reading what he has to say as a fan makes you want to run through a brick wall for him, do whatever you can for him, let's black out the stadium every game type of thing," one fan said. "Even when there was all the Jim Harbaugh rumors and stuff like that going around, I said even if he doesn't get the Raiders head coaching job, I thought he deserved to be a head coach somewhere.

"I'm stoked, excited, just like the teammates are. He has the pieces around him to build a good roster and win football games. The Patrick Graham thing was huge there, and I wanted to keep him. I thought with him and AP, they could build and solidify something for years and years to come."

Pierce finished with last season with a record of 5-4, and a 3-1 mark in the AFC West as interim coach.

It will be exciting to see what Pierce will bring in his first season as head coach for the Silver and Black.
