2024 NFL Draft Prospect Talks About the Silver and Black
There are many 2024 Draft prospects the Las Vegas Raiders are interested in. One of them is Lance Wise Jr., a safety from Mercer University.
In a recent Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast with our Hondo Carpenter Sr., Wise was a special guest and spent time talking about who he is as a player, what football means to him, and much more.
Wise finished his senior season at Mercer with 87 tackles, 40 solos, eight passes defended and five interceptions.
Wise spent a total of five college seasons with the Bears, played 56 games and finished with 320 tackles, 155 solos, 26 passes defended, 11 interceptions and three forced fumbles.
The young safety racked up a lot of accomplishments with at Mercer, including being the second-leading tackler and having the most interceptions in school history.
Wise had the chance to talk about the Raiders and what it would mean to be playing in Silver and Black.
"I love the Raiders and Las Vegas," Wise said. "I've never been to Vegas before. My older brother is in Vegas now because he was in the military. I've never been to the West Coast and seen what they do with Antonio Pierce.
"Playing with Davante Adams would be amazing. I watched him growing up and saw what he's been able to do. The Raiders are an excellent team in Black and Silver. The fans are amazing; I've seen clips of them all the time."
Wise can be a steal for the 2024 NFL Draft and possibly play for the Silver and Black next season.
