Former Super Bowl Champion Talks JC Latham
There are many positions the Las Vegas Raiders need to consider for the 2024 NFL Draft.
One of the many positions the Raiders could consider is drafting an offensive lineman in the first round.
In a recent Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast, our Hondo Carpenter Sr. was joined by a special guest, Ulish Booker.
Booker is a former Michigan State Spartan who won a World Bowl with the Amsterdam Admirals and a Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The entire episode was a scouting report on many University of Alabama 2024 NFL Draft prospects, including right tackle JC Latham.
According to Pro Football Focus, Lathom finished the 2023 college season with an offensive grade of 81.9, a run-blocking grade of 79.6, and a pass-blocking grade of 81.7.
Booker had the opportunity to share his thoughts on Lathom ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
"Latham has the size and experience playing in the SEC," Booker said."I just watched him as he matriculated to Alabama and progressed year in and year out. He has all the physical attributes and the things you can't buy or recreate in that size. He is 6-6, around 330-335 pounds, and I'm sure he might drop in preparation for the draft. He has big hands, and I think as he goes through this process and gets with an offensive line coach."
"I think JC definitely has what it takes to handle the right side as he goes along. He'll get more tools in his toolbox that will help him as far as getting ready for the next level."
