Dylan Parham is an Underrated Player for the Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have many players who can be considered underrated.
Offensive lineman Dylan Parham is in the conversation as one of those underrated players.
In a recent Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast with our Hondo Carpenter Sr., we were joined by our assistant beat writer Zeke Trezevant. Both had the opportunity to discuss many topics, including the NFL Combine, the 2024 NFL Draft, free agency, and more.
One topic discussed was Parham and how he is an underrated player for the Silver and Black offensive line.
Trezevant had the chance to share his thoughts on Parham.
"I think he's a star," Trezevent said. "Like you said, two years in, he's got a ton of potential. He might not be getting love because of his position: offensive line. That's one of those units that you only get a little attention if you're messing up. That's part of it. But I also feel like it's because he's a relatively quiet person. He gets overlooked sometimes; if he were more vocal, he would grab a little more attention.
"In terms of his on-the-field production, no doubt, and then his versatility. Regarding the on-the-field presence, the kid knows the game inside and out. There's no question about him there, but he gets a little overlooked because, A) he plays offensive line, and, B) he is just on the quieter side."
Parham finished the 2023-24 NFL regular season with an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 60.4, a pass-blocking grade of 61.8, and a run-blocking grade of 57.6.
