Las Vegas Raiders star running back Josh Jacobs known for playing well against the Los Angeles Chargers

The Las Vegas Raiders face a divisional rival this Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Silver and Black lead the all-time series, 67-57-2, against the Chargers and these two teams are known for playing games that come down to the wire.

There is one player on the Raiders offense who is known for playing really against the Chargers and that player is All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs.

According to Statmuse.com, Jacobs has 131 carries for 585 yards and has scored five touchdowns in seven career games against the Chargers.

On the first regular season game of the 2022-23 regular season, the Raiders played the Chargers in Sofi Stadium and Jacobs finished the game rushing for 56 yards on 10 carries. Later in the season against the Chargers in Allegiant Stadium, Jacobs rushed for 144 total yards on 26 carries. The Raiders and Chargers split the meetings last season, each with a win in their home stadium.

Jacobs is still trying to find his groove this season. The 2022-23 NFL rushing leader has 45 carries for 108 rushing yards, averaging 2.4 yards per carry this season. He also is trying to find his way in the end zone as he has zero touchdowns going into Week 4.

Last Sunday's 23-18 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Allegiant Stadium, Jacobs ran for 67 yards on 17 carries.

All eyes are going to be on Jacobs this Sunday, as he is known for playing very well against the Chargers and looks to bounce back with the Raiders offense and go 2-2 early in the NFL regular season.

The Silver and Black return to the road next week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
